I worked with Dale at Didde until the end, and remember his first day with the company in the early eighties. He was then, and remained, one of the people at Didde’s that I always looked forward to working with. Please accept my deepest sympathy at his untimely passing.
Steph and girls,
We will really miss Dale. I am scheduled for surgery so we cannot make the trip but will be there in spirit.
Will be thinking of you.
Stephanie and daughters,
We are so saddened to hear of your sudden loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
Richard and Mary (Haag) Lopez
I am saddened by the sudden loss of our dear friend Dale. I am a QE who sat next to him for a time at ATS, he was friendly and courteous. We shared affections for marching bands and a certain franchise of chicken wings— I made it a habit to inform him with a text whenever I was partaking of Hooters chicken wings which we agreed were most delectable!! My prayers for Dale’s family and am encouraged by his memory.
Daugaard Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathies and condolences. You’re all in my thoughts and prayers. Dale was truly one of the “Good Guys”. His journey in my life included our time working together at Adam’s. My memories will always be of his smile and good nature. We all knew how important his family was to him! Whether it was date night with “momma”, bragging about Nat’s accomplishments or what was going on with his girls still in Kansas, he loved and was so proud of you all!
Dale you will be greatly missed! Thank you for touching my life!
Go Clones!!!

My thoughts and prayers are with you and the girls. May the Lord wrap his arms around you and comfort you through this sad time.
I wish to convey my sincerest sympathies to the Daugaard family upon Dale’s passing. It was my pleasure to become acquainted with Dale and Stephanie while teaching trumpet to Natalie at Flint Hills Music in Emporia when Natalie was a sixth grader. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
Stephanie, Ann, Samantha, and Natalie:
We are so sorry for your loss. We remember Dale with great fondness. He always seemed to be happy and smiling, except maybe for a small minute if the girls didn’t win their basketball game :). Even then, he always kept a great attitude and perspective. You are in are thoughts and prayers, Davonne and Kelsi.
Stephanie,
We were so very sorry to hear of the loss of your husband Dale. We are praying for you and your family.
Sincerely,
Dave and Ann Stark
Stephanie and daughters,
Please accept my deepest sympathy at his untimely passing. I had a lot of good times together with Dale and Dave. Was just thinking of Dale the other day when talk of the Big 12 basketball tournament will be starting soon, and how he love it. GO Iowa State!
Steph and family – I was so very sorry to hear about Dale’s passing – he was a great guy and full of laughter – he was a great dad, husband and I know you will miss him greatly – our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss.
Dear Stephanie and girls: Dorothy, Dale’s mother, is a first cousin to Ray. We were shocked and very saddened when we learned of Dale’s death. It just does not seem real. Wayne, Dale’s uncle called us. At the time we were vacationing in Arizona and therefore unable to be with you. We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. May God comfort you and guide you in the days ahead. We live near Garretson, not too far from Dorothy. Ray did some substitute teaching in Dell Rapids and would see Darwin on occasion.
Stephanie,
We are so sorry to hear of Dale’s passing. We remember him fondly from all of the girls’ games; traveling and cheering the teams. He was always so encouraging and supportive and such a great “dad” for all the girls. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. We pray that the Lord will surround you with His love and you will find comfort in the lifetime of memories you shared with Dale.

Steph and Family: Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and the entire Daugaard family at this time of Dale’s passing. He was a man with a tremendous smile who always seemed to lift everyone that he met. For all the good memories, thank you, Dale. And Steph, you are in our prayers. Be strong as we know you will.
Thank you for your kind words, thoughts and prayers as we continue this journey without our best friend, dad and partner you could ask for. What a dance we had through our 25+ years. I was truly, truly blessed that he picked me and we were blessed with 3 of the best “sons” daughters that you could ever ask for. Love and hugs to you – Stephanie, Ann (Daniel) Stair, Samantha, & Natalie.
Stephanie, Ann(Daniel), Samantha and Natalie,
Dale was not only and awesome dad and father he was a true friend and great brother. Over the last few years, especially towards the end, Dale has helped me through some rough times. He always gave good advice in order to help me make good decisions. He was one of my best friends with a sense of humor that we both shared (warped). I will forever miss him and his zest for life. You guys will forever be in my thoughts and prayers.
