Tiffany Nicole Boehrns shed her earthly shackles and set herself free just before midnight Sunday July 16th. Her sickness and sadness are just fading memories now, replaced by comforting peace and surrounded by loved ones gone long before her.
Tiffany was born in the dog days of summer, August 19, 1989. She grew up fast, under the watchful eye of her father Brian Boehrns and her youthful mother, Tari Honl, who had their hands full already trying to keep up with Tiffany’s big sister Crystal. Soon off to Haywood elementary, the years of Tiffany’s childhood were nothing if not chock full of family travels, reunions and half a dozen immediate family picnics every year. Memorial and Roosevelt rounded out her education, and Tiffany soon followed her own path into motherhood.
The wispy haired blonde was always testing new waters, often getting in over her head and fighting against the strong currents of life’s ever changing challenges. There’s only so much strength any of us have to continue such a long struggle, and many times we pray for enough strength to just make it til the next bell, so we can rest and catch a second wind to carry on the fight. Nobody can do that forever, and It’s hard to keep a Boehrns girl down, but Tiffany decided to clear the slate, declining any further medical care. She opted to live her last few days in Hospice mode, thanks to her welcoming sister and family. Her short but fruitful life ended comfortably, with family close by and a beautiful dream in her heart.
Tiffany leaves behind 5 children in the loving care of Rebecca Weaver; Eligh, Derek Jr, Promise, Mason and D’Cash. A sister Crystal Boehrns and two grandfathers, Steven (Louise) Honl and Frederick Boehrns. Tiffany was preceded to the hereafter by two grandmothers, Patricia Honl and Ramona Boehrns and a special aunt, Veronica Walden, cousin, Misty Walden and an Uncle Troy J. Boehrns.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Anderson Jones Corcoran Harrisburg Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg, SD.
