My first memory of Sharon is of her dressing in an elderly person mask and hiding around the corner to scare my family! Sharon was always smiling, laughing and joking with me and my siblings! I remember her offering me $1.00 to dunk my entire body in a 20 gallon drum of freezing cold rain water. Why??? I’m not sure but I got a buck and that was a lot of money back in the 70’s!!! I loved going to Sharon’s house… as a child it seemed more like a museum than a home! Playing fetch with Bandit for slobbery hours and seeing baby kitten born in the closet are some of my favorite “Ostrem” memories. Most of all, I remember Sharon’s generous nature. She gave and gave… what a wonderful quality! Thanks Sharon for setting me up with your German exchange student, Jes. That was the only prom I ever went to 🙂 You will be missed! Much Love, Joni Ellis

Richard – so sorry about the loss of Sharon. We here at Sams will miss her smile and always cheery conversations when you guys would come in. Know that the road these past few years has had a lot of bumps and ruts – so hope you are doing okay. Take care of yourself. Thanks for the memories you have shared with us.
