Sharri Raye Linton McMath

Service: A celebration of life visitation will be held Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Anderson Jones Corcoran Harrisburg Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 11am on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Hills of Rest Cemetery, Sioux Falls, SD.

Sharri Raye Linton McMath, 73, of Sturgis, SD passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026.

Sharri was born on September 15, 1952, in Sioux Falls, SD to Leonard and Eleanor (Swenson) Linton. She was baptized at East Side Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. Her greatest joy during her youth was riding her large white horse, Danny, and roller skating at West Soo Rolling Rink.  She loved her childhood friends and kept in contact with many of them throughout the years. Sharri graduated from Lincoln High School in 1970.

Sharri married her high school sweetheart Randy McMath. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, GEMO, sister and friend. She was well known for her quick wit, a kind heart and the ability to make others smile. She enjoyed raising her four children. Hobbies Sharri & Randy enjoyed together were sprint car races & bowling. She started working at Team Allied Exhaust in 1985 and retired in 2015.

Remaining to cherish Sharri’s memory are her children: Jeff (Robin) McMath, Kelly (Jennifer) McMath, Shane (Pamela) McMath, Jennifer McMath (Fiancé Cade); grandchildren, Richard (Fiancé Zarea) McMath, Joey McMath, Stevie McMath, Rebecca McMath, Jacob McMath, Braxtyn, Trystan McMath, Hunter (Fiancé Madison) McMath, Chase (special friend Carley) McMath, Eastyn McMath, Ruger McMath, Trynity (Garion) Wallace, Kyeara Schafer, Zandyr Schafer, Flynn Edelman; great grandchild: Jrue McMath; sister: Jackie (Joe) Underberg.

Preceded in death by her loving husband, Randy; her parents, Leonard and Eleanor Linton; sister, Debbie Underberg; special relatives, Rick Middlen, Vonnie “Toots” Poppens, Alysen Voss.

A celebration of life visitation will be held Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Anderson Jones Corcoran Harrisburg Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 11am on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Hills of Rest Cemetery, Sioux Falls, SD.

    I wasn’t given the privilege of knowing Sharri. I feel a little cheated. But with what I do know is her son. With that, if I was able to talk to her I would say “Sharri I can see through your son Jeff, you were a WONDERFUL MOTHER.” Good Job. Rest in Pease knowing you were and always will be loved forever.
