Nicholas Schramm, 40, of Sioux Falls, passed away on May 16, 2026

Nicholas Schramm was born on July 10, 1985 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He was the son of Steve Schramm and Sonya Stoops. He received his education in Sioux Falls and was a graduate of Volunteers of America class of 2002.

Nicholas was employed at Pure Bliss.

Nicholas enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His children/friends remember him as a loving and patient dad and a fantastic friend. He was a fantastic son, grandson, brother and will be missed by everyone he knew.

Nicholas is survived by his son, Ben Hodkinson, daughter, Alexa Hodkinson and daughters, Kailey and Kimberly; parents, Steve and Sonya Schramm; sister, Heidi Lambrecht and spouse Luke; grandmother, Mary Stoops; best friend, Harley Cargill as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Nicholas is preceded in death by grandparents, Fred and Edith Schramm, grandfather, Larry Stoops, as well as several other loved ones.

Celebration of life visitation will be held 1pm-3pm on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Anderson Jones Corcoran Funeral Home, 110 S Willow, Harrisburg, SD.
